How D75 Cards collects, uses and stores information about visitors. Last updated: May 2025.

1. Who We Are

D75 Cards (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent collector reference site for 2025 Topps Chrome Formula 1 Diamond 75th Anniversary trading cards, operated under the laws of the State of New York, USA. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights in relation to it.

2. Data We Collect and Why

a) Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, operated by Google LLC. Google Analytics collects data about your visit including your approximate location (derived from IP address), device type, browser, operating system, pages visited, time on page, referral source and interactions. This data is sent to and stored on Google’s servers, which may be located outside the UK and EEA.

Google Analytics uses cookies (including _ga and _gid) to distinguish visitors and sessions. We use this data to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest in understanding site usage. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by managing cookies in your browser settings.

b) Internal Page View Tracking

We run our own lightweight page popularity tracker to understand which pages are most useful to visitors. When a page is visited, we log: the page path, page title, query string and referrer URL. We do not store IP addresses. To count approximate unique visitors without storing personal data, we generate a one-way daily hash derived from a salted combination of the visitor’s IP address and user agent — the raw IP is discarded immediately and the hash resets every 24 hours, making it impossible to reverse back to an individual.

This data is used solely for simple page popularity metrics — understanding which cards, checklists and tools are most visited. It is not used to build personal profiles, track individuals across sessions or share data with third parties.

c) Collection and Wishlist Data

If you use the collection or wishlist tools, data you enter (such as cards marked as owned or wanted, quantities, condition notes, purchase prices and dates) is stored in your browser’s local storage or session storage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you use an export or sync feature.

We do not have access to your collection or wishlist data unless you explicitly share it with us.

d) Contact Emails

If you contact us by email, we will use your email address and the content of your message to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your email with third parties.
